Created by natural mutation of a Tempranillo tinto vine.
PHENOLOGY
Late sprout and early maturation.
CLUSTERS AND BERRIES
Medium-sized, packed cluster shaped like a truncated cone. Medium-sized berries, ellipsoidal in shape and green-brown colour with purple shades.
PESTS AND DISEASES
Low sensitivity to botrytis.
AGRONOMIC CHARACTERISTICS
Medium-high vigour and high fertility. High yield. Slightly resistant to drought and high temperatures. Responds well to short pruning. Due to its early maturation, delaying the harvesting period is not recommended.
OENOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Its alcohol content-acidity- polyphenol content balance makes it a suitable variety for making young and barrel-aged wines. In terms of tasting, they are greenish yellow wines with floral and intense fruity aromas. They are well-balanced and medium-long wines on the palate with a great structure.
