CAYETANA

White variety from the Ribera del Guadalquivir area in the province of Badajoz. It is all grown in this province, although there are some cultivated in Cáceres and Huelva.

PHENOLOGY
Average sprout and average-late maturation.

CLUSTERS AND BERRIES
Large cluster, with medium-loose density, conic shaped and winged. Large, round, yellow-green colour berry.

PESTS AND DISEASES
Sensitive to oidium, botrytis and acarinosis.

AGRONOMIC CHARACTERISTICS
High-medium vigour variety and semi-erect vine. Stands out for its high yield.

OENOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Provides wines with a high alcohol content, with low acidity, faint yellow colour with green shades, intense and complex aromas of ripe fruit. Due to its high productivity, it can be used to make brandy.
