Very vigorous variety with an extremely high resistance to drought and very hardy.
It is planted in limestone and dry soils in Sicily, Tunisia, Morocco and Algeria.
Active limestone resistance: 20%.
It should not be planted in highly fertile soil, as its excessive vigour could cause coulure in the varieties.
